Plus Size Women Fashion Hacks

Girl’s shorts, skirts and sleeveless look cute in summers, but wait,

Are you conscious of your bulky figure?

Do you feel uncomfortable exposing your body because of extra pounds on it?

Most plus-size women love winters because everyone is covering their bodies to protect themselves from cold, so do they. And don’t feel uncomfortable in wearing the layers, denim jeans and long shrugs or coats work wonders for them. But when we talk about summer clothing, it is a bit hard to select the perfect dress.

Here are some fashion hacks for plus size stylish women to dress comfortably

Hack 1- Short rule (for summers):

For plus-size women, it is better to go for high-rise, medium-rise, or loose-fitting shorts. Select the printed or dark-colored one. If you want something different, go for sleek shorts, Bermuda shorts, or chino shorts.

Don’t forget to apply baby powder or deodorant on your legs, this will save your legs from a rash (due to constant rubbing) and sweating.

Hack 2- Pencil skirt (for summers):

A pencil-cut skirt is best for all figures, whether your body is pear-shaped, apple, or square-shaped, it works wonders. This style is the most flattering one. These are usually made of elastic stuff, so pencil cuts are so comfortable to wear and give the impression of a tight look. Make sure to highlight the waist area by wearing a belt or some chain.

The same tips for the skirt as well, apply baby powder or deodorant on your legs before wearing.

Hack 3- Tailored pants:

If you are working in an office, go for tailor-made pants. I recommend you select a stretchable and dark fabric. It would be great if you go for cardinal colors like charcoal grey, black, and navy blue.

Silk blouse or shirt looks flattering with tailored pants. Bold-colored pants look great when wearing occasionally.

Hack 4- Animal prints wrap dress:

Animal prints look stylish to every person. You can go for animal print loose-fitting frocks or A-line dresses. It is preferable to go for a V-shaped neckline; this will give a slimming effect. Make sure your dress runs below your knees, covering your thighs perfectly.

You can also search for new fabric patterns and colors. Solid and dark colors like black, maroon, navy blue and brown, etc. are best for plus size women, as these colors will make you look slimmer.

Hack 5- Monochromatic outfit:

Try a monochromatic outfit for a slimming appearance. Pick neutral colors like black, navy blue, white, brown, etc. Maybe this will not sound appealing but try it and see the transformation. You can wear a colorful jacket or flattering upper to give your outfit a lively look.

Hack 6- Add accessories:

Heavy and too much jewelry is not suitable for plus-size women. It is better to go for thin or medium-sized pieces of jewelry. If you are curvy, large necklaces or earrings make you look even bulkier.

It is time to upgrade your jewelry box. Select thin and elegant necklaces, not very long. Go for small or medium-sized ear studs and a thin bracelet. Add scarves and hats (if needed) to your daily wear, bags also play an important role in distracting from the curvy figure.

Adding belts to your daily wear is also a good choice, but it does not suit everyone. Avoid wearing belts on your dress like frocks etc. if you have an apple-shaped figure.

Hack 7- Get a bodysuit:

Upgrade your wardrobe by spending few bucks ona bodysuit. This will keep your body in shape and avoid sweating. Also, these fitted dresses stay wrinkle-free all day. It is better to go for a V-shaped neckline, dark-colored and printed bodysuit.
